YOEME Run Club ("YOEME," "we," "us") is operated by YOEME INC., a Delaware corporation, contact privacy@yoemerun.com. This policy explains what we collect in the YOEME Run Club app, why, and your choices.

• Your username and profile photo are public to other members.
• Your real name, email, and phone number are private — other members can never see them. Only you and our administrators can access them.
• We use your location only while you're tracking a run or workout, to measure distance, pace, and your route.
• We don't sell your data and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
• You can delete your account and all your data at any time, from within the app.

Account information

• Username and profile photo (public)
• Real name, email address, phone number (private — owner and admins only)

Activity & fitness data

• Runs and workouts you record: distance, duration, pace, and GPS route
• Manually logged activities (e.g. yoga, cycling, swimming)
• Gear you add and its mileage
• Photos you attach to activities
• Workout data you choose to import from Apple Health (from your Apple Watch or other wearables)

Location data

• Precise location, collected only while an activity is being tracked (including in the background if you keep a run running with the screen off). We use it to compute distance, pace, and your route. We do not track your location at other times.

Social data

• Friends you add, cheers you send/receive, group runs you create or RSVP to. 

Marketing preferences

• Whether you have opted in to receive news, launch updates, or SMS from YOEME

Technical data

• A user account identifier, and basic app/device information needed to operate the service

We do not use advertising identifiers or track you across other companies' apps.

Direct messages & community content
YOEME lets members send each other direct messages and take part in club features. The messages you send are stored so they can be delivered and shown in your conversations, and are readable only by you and the person you're messaging. We do not use the content of your messages for advertising, and we never sell it.

You are in control: you can block any member, which stops them from messaging you and hides their messages, and you can report a message or member for review. We may access reported content to keep the community safe and to enforce our terms. Deleting your account removes your messages, blocks and reports along with the rest of your data.

• To create and run your account and profile
• To record, display, and let you share your activities
• To power club features: leaderboards, friends, cheers, and group runs
• To keep your data synced and backed up across your devices
• To send you marketing communications only if you opted in (you can opt out anytime)
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law

• With other members: only your public information (username, photo, stats, and activities you record). Never your name, email, or phone.
• With service providers who run the app for us:
  • Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage (data hosting)
  • Apple — app distribution and, where used, notifications
  • Resend — sending account emails; and an SMS provider if/when we add text updates, only for opted-in marketing
• For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• We do not sell your personal information.

If you connect Apple Health, we read only the workout data you authorize, and use it solely to display and track your activity in YOEME. We never use Health data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.

• Access/update: edit your profile and private details in the app anytime.
• Marketing opt-out: turn off marketing in settings, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to any text.
• Delete your account: in the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, private info, and activity data.
• Location & Health: you can revoke access in iOS Settings at any time.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data promptly, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, database-level access controls (row-level security), and administrative safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.

YOEME Run Club is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do neither). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact privacy@yoemerun.com.

Our legal bases for processing are your consent (marketing), performance of a contract (running your account), and our legitimate interests (security, product improvement). You may access, correct, delete, or port your data, or object to processing, by contacting privacy@yoemerun.com. Your data may be processed in the United States.

We'll post any changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
